Ondřej Soukup steps in for Martyn Brabbins at short notice to conduct Turbulent Landscapes by Scottish composer Thea Musgrave. The three-day project culminates with a live recording.
Later this week, Ondřej performs Hannah Kendall’s Verdala with RCM New Perspectives. The invitation came from the ensemble’s music director Tim Lines. Ms Kendall is a British composer currently residing in New York.

Ondřej Soukup is an exciting young conductor specialising in Czech & Eastern European music. His repertoire counts 250+ works by men and women. Recently, he made music with BBC SSO, Czech Chamber Philharmonic, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic and others. In the 2023/2024 season, Ondřej conducts the Copenhagen Phil, The Danish Sinfonietta, Helsingborg Symphony, Ålborg Symphony, and Magna Sinfonia among others.
